If marriage is the goal of dating, then the dating relationship should be a developing friendship full of fun and happiness. Look for ways for both individuals to have fun together. Finding things that the couple has in common, and then developing those areas together, will create a stronger friendship. If there are some things that one person enjoys but the other is not excited about, spend some time finding out if these areas are going to build walls in the relationship. A dating relationship is the time to discover what elements the couple has in their individual lives that can make the relationship stronger. Take It SlowSome people enter into a dating relationship and immediately get serious. They never take the time to learn the simple things about each other. While it is true that there are cases of love at first sight, it is still good to take things slow and make sure that the couple likes each other. Dating relationships should last long enough for the couple to test if the initial feelings are a love that can last or if they are just a product of simple infatuation. If the couple enjoys being together but finds that they are not truly committed to a lasting love relationship, they can enjoy a new friendship and be thankful that they have not made a serious mistake.
